Benjamin Lightfoot, MD

Benjamin Lightfoot, MD, full-time internal medicine physician at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, has extensive training and experience caring for HIV-infected patients. He splits his time between the Ryan White HIV program, his internal medicine practice and his CMO duties.
Dr. Lightfoot provides medical care and treatment to BNHC’s HIV patients, working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure HIV patients receive comprehensive early intervention and primary care services including addressing medical, mental health, dental, and social service issues. He has cared for BNHC’s culturally and linguistically diverse populations throughout his 14-year tenure at the health center.
Prior to joining Brockton Neighborhood Health Center in May 2002, Dr. Lightfoot worked for 4 years at Outer Cape Health Services, where he cared for a large panel of HIV/AIDS patients as well as a panel of general primary care patients with an emphasis on geriatric care. Dr. Lightfoot earned his medical degree and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
