Manny Lopes has held several positions since joining the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) at the age of 18, including roles in IT, Human Resources, and Operations and since 2004 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In 2010, Manny assumed the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and in 2012 was named CEO. In January 2015, he became President and CEO. Manny’s breadth of experience at EBNHC provides him with an unparalleled understanding of the health center, our community, and the vital importance of providing high-quality health care to those we serve.
Manny has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business and currently serves on many health care and government boards and committees, including the Boston Public Health Commission, Metropolitan Beach Commission, AmeriCorps Community HealthCorps Steering Committee, Northeastern University MBA Healthcare Advisory Board, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers Executive Board, and Boston Medical Center’s Board of Trustees, and My Brother’s Keeper Boston Advisory committee. It was Manny's privilege to serve on the transition committees for Mayor Marty Walsh and Governor Charlie Baker.
