Will Giordano-Perez, MD, MBA, Is Fenway Health’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Will has a wealth of experience in clinical leadership, health equity advocacy, and global public health innovation. He oversees Fenway Health’s Medical, Nursing, Reproductive Health, Behavioral Health, Dental and Optometry departments, and Public Health division, guiding the organization’s efforts to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and services to diverse communities.
Will previously served as the Chief Medical Officer at CCI Health Services in Washington, DC, where he has spearheaded transformative changes in clinical operations, improved patient outcomes, and expanded access to care for historically underserved populations. His leadership was instrumental in establishing Maryland’s first Center for Sexual and Gender Minority Health, overseeing the state’s largest refugee health assessment program, and integrating vital services such as same-day PrEP, gender-affirming care, and treatment for substance use disorders.
Will’s commitment to health equity extends globally. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in Haiti developing public health programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. He also worked in Laos with Oregon Health & Science University and the country’s Ministry of Health to establish a national institute for nutrition science, training, and clinical care.
Will earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, completed his family medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University, and holds a dual-international MBA from Brown University and IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He is on faculty as an Asst. Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Brown.
